Research context

Ac denotes the N-terminal acetyl group. The reference sequence, formula and monoisotopic mass above describe the non-amidated molecule characterised by Vanhee et al. N-Acetyl Semax Amidate has a different C-terminal group and is a distinct chemical entity. Verify terminal chemistry against the applicable batch documentation; a product name alone is not structural confirmation.

Published parent-Semax research includes rat experiments examining hippocampal BDNF/TrkB signalling and immune- and vascular-related gene expression in focal brain ischaemia. These studies do not establish that N-Acetyl Semax has the same biological effects. The linked analytical study provides identification context, not evidence of cognitive enhancement or human safety. See the Research tab for study-specific notes.

Reference values do not establish batch identity, purity or suitability. Counterions, water content and formulation can affect measurements. Monoisotopic mass is not the same quantity as average molecular weight.

Batch documentation

Independent analytical documentation is published where available for specific batches and variations. Match the compound, terminal form, vial size and batch identifier to the corresponding report before relying on any result. No published result indicator means no product-specific result is currently displayed for that variation.

Supply and laboratory handling

  • Supplied in the vial size selected above.
  • Provided as a lyophilised research material.
  • Keep the vial sealed and protected from moisture, heat and direct light.
  • Use suitable laboratory controls and independently verify identity and concentration for the intended experimental model.

Frequently asked questions

What is N-Acetyl Semax?

An acetylated derivative of Semax, supplied for laboratory research. NA Semax is shorthand for N-Acetyl Semax.

Is it the same as Semax or N-Acetyl Semax Amidate?

No. N-terminal acetylation and C-terminal amidation are separate modifications. Use documentation specific to the selected chemical form.

What does the reference mass describe?

The monoisotopic mass of the non-amidated reference molecule reported in the analytical literature, not a measured result for this batch.

Do parent-Semax papers prove effects for this product?

No. Results for unmodified Semax cannot automatically be assigned to its acetylated derivative. The Research tab identifies which material each paper concerns.

Are laboratory results available?

Check the COA tab for available records and match the product variation and batch identifier before relying on a report.

How should the material be stored?

See the Storage Guidelines tab and follow any batch-specific instructions. No human dosing, administration or injection guidance is provided.

Batch-specific analytical documentation

Independent analytical results are published for selected Havoc Labs products, vial sizes and batches. The result attached to one variation must not be treated as evidence for a different size or batch.

  • Result available: a published report is available for the marked variation.
  • Test pending: a sample has been submitted, but no completed result is being claimed.
  • No indicator: no product-specific result is currently displayed for that variation.

Check the identifiers

Always match the compound, vial size and batch reference on the product to the corresponding laboratory record. Where the laboratory provides an independent verification facility, use it to confirm the report.

Storage and stability

Storage requirements can vary by compound, physical form, intended storage duration and batch. Follow the lot-specific documentation and your laboratory’s validated procedure wherever these are available.

Form Suggested storage Important note
Sealed lyophilised material Keep in a cool, dry place, refrigerated at 2–8°C or frozen, as appropriate for the compound and intended storage period. Keep sealed, dry and protected from direct light. Follow compound- and batch-specific documentation and avoid repeated temperature cycling.
Reconstituted solution Refrigerate at 2–8°C unless the applicable laboratory protocol specifies otherwise. Stability depends on the preparation conditions, solvent, concentration, container and handling. No universal storage period is claimed.

No universal shelf-life is claimed

Do not assume a fixed expiry or prepared-solution storage period unless it is supported by relevant stability data or batch documentation. Where a lot-specific document gives different instructions, that document takes precedence.

Literature is not batch evidence

The cited papers concern defined experimental materials and conditions. They do not establish the identity, purity, performance or suitability of a Havoc Labs batch. Match the terminal modifications, reference structure and batch identifier against the applicable analytical documentation.
